Ymgarl Genestealer

The original version of Genestealers weren't Tyranids, nor did they have Cults, but they still had hybrid offspring in much the same fashion (albeit this was fatal to the host parent). Genestealers originated from a moon of Ymgarl, and their 'native' mate was a giant leech-like creature called the Csith. This pairing didn't create hybrids but instead made pure Genestealers, regardless of how many genes it had stolen.

Things are quite a bit different now, of course. The 'canon' Ymgarl Genestealer look is simply the stock design with the Cthulhu head, though they have super Mimic Octopus powers so hypothetically they can look like anything. This ability also makes them crave blood near-constantly, which has gotten so bad that the Tyranid Hive Mind actively avoids these Genestealers, no matter how often they fling themselves in the Hive Fleet's way, lest the genetic flaw contaminate the entire race.
