They're not kid gloves, Mr. Valiant by Monster-Man-08 They're not kid gloves, Mr. Valiant by Monster-Man-08
"Oh my God, it's DIIIIIIIIIIP!!!"

Turpentine, acetone, benzene.... also known as paint thinner. Judge Doom and the Dip are a neat meta threat to old cartoons, back when they were near-universally comedy sketches. Kind of a shame that sort of thing wouldn't work out with today's animation environment.

These days I wish we had a CGI equivalent of this. I'm so fed up with all the 3D movies.

Judge Doom was honestly pretty terrifying.

A good bit of hard drive corruption or viruses would definitely be a good way to reuse the ability to just murder digital works of animation or art.

There's that, but at the same time modern cartoons can have actual, permanent injury and death. Killing a Looney Tune is a big shock because they always just walk off getting shot in the face or exploded or sliced to pieces.

This reminded me that I totally need to watch this film again. Though I never liked that scene when I was a child...

I felt so bad for that little shoe... I've never felt bad for a shoe in general. :o

Friendly reminder that thanks to Judge Doom, there's another toon shoe out there that will always be alone now...

This scene terrified me as a kid, and now I can watch it with a straight face.
