Poisssonousss Yellow by Monster-Man-08 Poisssonousss Yellow by Monster-Man-08
A 50-foot amphibious snake-like creature with a mouth large enough to swallow a small boat (or at least a young Andalite). Curiously, its blood and saliva appear to be the same yellow-and-green ooze.

Worthy of note is how Visser Three doesn't actually morph into this giant monster specifically to attack/eat anyone, rather he does so in order to reach an underwater facility. Of course he immediately finds the Animorphs there and attacks/eats them, but it's not like he was prepared for that. Right?

BOOK: Animorphs #15 - The Escape

I never read Animorphs as a kid, so please tell me--do the aliens really look this weird, or is that just your style?

I do add my own flourishes, but yeah the aliens can get really weird, and the author delights in screwing around with convention sometimes -- there's one alien whose pupils orbit their irises, another with these extendo-boxing-glove type of spiked arms, and a third with wheels for feet and the ability to launch their heads like a Kenner Alien toy!

... but sometimes they can be rather vague. Like this one, actually, where the description is basically "a giant snake."
