Animorphs Races: Capasin

A highly militaristic race, the Capasin will obliterate anything they deem a threat to them or even the galaxy as a whole. While a noble cause, they don't bother to investigate or negotiate, as evidenced by their elimination of the Ketrans. The Ketrans played an evolution-simulation game, which the Capasins misunderstood as tampering with real aliens.

Capasins shared a solar system with two other alien races, the Folk and the Laga, and were the only space-faring race among them. The Laga were primitive farmers, while the Folk practiced extreme eugenics, killing nearly 90% of their offspring to keep their genepool "clean" (curiously, the Capasins don't seem to object to such behavior, perhaps because it only affects the Folk themselves).
