Mamma mia! The Shroob are sinister alien fungi eerily similar to Mushroom Kingdom's Toads and Princess Peach, hailing from a planet that's seemingly one gargantuan Shroob. Partners in Time doesn't really give us much of an idea as to what a makes a Shroob a Shroob, though we do find out they can "Shroobify" other beings (handy for Genestealer Cults) and are deathly weak to baby tears (not so handy).
