may I ask, how do you make it so that the creature isn't symmetrical whether it's with hands or eyes or details?

The latest official patch for the game offers an asymmetry tool for all the creators (the patch is a free download, though *may* need Galactic Adventures). You can make parts asymmetric by simply holding the 'A' button while clicking on it.

okay, and I don have Galactic Adventures and the creepy and cute parts, does that make any difference? were can I get the patch? (sorry if that's a stupid question, I don't know very much about computers so I might seem very clueless)

I'm not sure if having the expansions make a difference. I doubt it needs Creepy & Cute, it MAY need Galactic Adventures, I really don't know, though.

The patch is free, but you need Spore registered/connected to the internet (which doesn't cost anything to do so), and the game should automatically ask you if you want to download the patch when you start up the game. If not, try looking around the 'Help' sections of Spore's forums (this page is a good start [link])
